Congress Venues

The International Association of Penal Law (IAPL) was established on March 25, 1924 (RIDP 1924, p. 3). Its founding assembly took place in the premises of the Faculty of Law in Paris.

To commemorate this creation in Paris, the IAPL will organise its 21st Congress in Paris, coinciding with the centenary of the IAPL's establishment in 1924.

The organisation of this event has been entrusted to the University Paris Panthéon-Assas, specifically to the Paris Institute of Criminology and Criminal Law, and the French Association of Criminal Law (AFDP), representing the national group "France" in the IAPL.

The centennial congress of the IAPL will take place in several locations that are emblematic of legal studies in Paris.
